Jerren's first passion has always been music, and since 2007 he's been collaborating with producers, solo artists, and bands all over Los Angeles. From British soul to dance pop rock, from country to pop international, Jerren's experience as a songwriter is as varied as his own tastes in music. He's made a name for himself behind the scenes. But the time has come for Jerren to step into the limelight.

This is the motivation: Jerren wants people to feel when they listen what he feels when he writes.

His songs come from a place of energy and honesty. Stylistically, he draws on classic R&B melodies while crafting evocative and cerebral lyrics. Jerren sees his music as an extension of his personality.

In his own words, Jerren describes himself as "a songwriter who pulls from deeply emotional places or an intellectual head space." "Every melody and lyric flows naturally," he says. "Basically, I love a simple song with a great hook and a good story to tell." His influences include pop, electro, dub-step, chill-step, dance, house, dance pop rock, alternative, R&B, and rap.

Although he didn't always know it, Jerren's life has been a preparation for this moment. Jerren was raised in Houston and played football for the University of Texas, where he was a member of the 2005 National Championship team. Later, he went on to excel as a student at Pepperdine Law School, leading his classmates as Student Body President. It's a mix of experiences that has birthed an eclectic personality, a fresh style, and a retro songwriting sensibility.
